After a successful five year fundraising drive for the South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation, we reached our goal of $120,000.00 on August 17, 2019. Where to from here? Call it volunteer fatigue, but the five race committee members have elected to bring this fun event to a close after five years of hard work.  We'd love to see the event continue somehow, and would assist any group or association that may want to take on The Great Ogopogo Bathtub Race. There is a professional website up and running already, so if you or a group you know might want to keep the event going, please contact us.

We must thank sincerely all of our sponsors over the years, along with our volunteers and those intrepid skippers (remember 2018?). Hopefully somehow the event will find new legs.
