August 22nd came sandwiched between heavy winds and a rough lake, and a smoke-filled Saturday evening. Someone was watching out for us! The races were loads of fun, with just 34 seconds between 1st and 2nd in the Class A race. Remax Orchard Country took first, with Great Estates right behind. Signature Pools was not long in finishing third. The Class B race was a really mixed (and funny) bag of entries. First place went to Johnston Meier, second to Huber-Banister, and third to Pat Wand/ABK Restoration. Great smokies and corn in the park, kids had a blast, and best of all, we exceeded our goal of raising $15,000 for the Medical Foundation. Stay tuned for next year’s plans.
