A: There is a launching ramp at the end of Wharf Street in Trout Creek. It is recommended you launch early and bring your boat around the corner to Powell Beach, where staff will be present while you attend the RBC Financial Entrant’s Breakfast and Race Meeting at Summerland Yacht Club. It is possible to hand launch at one corner of Powell Beach if you do not have a trailer.

A: The Valley is popular for fishing, and a lot of people have access to a 9.8 or 9.9 fishing motor. We only require that motors be in stock condition for this fun event, which we want accessible to as many people as possible.
